Exceptional waters is more often than not discovered at remote and hard to get to sources. At Kalkkloof we wish to connect the consumer with such a source. When you break the seal and open a bottle of Kalkkloof water, you are unlocking the heart of nature and experiencing its journey through the geology that makes the source unique.

You’ll find our natural spring outside Badplaas, a tiny village in the foothills of the Dlomodlomo Mountains, or “The Place of Much Thunder” which forms part of the Baberton Greenstone belt.

Famed for both its hot water springs and its cold refreshing water, the surrounds of the town offer a glimpse of untouched nature.

It is here that we collect and bottle Kalkkloof Natural Spring Water, always clean, always fresh, always energizing. The famed water owes its soft taste to its passage through ancient African greenstone rock, formed billions of years ago, which is then gently tapped directly through the eye of the spring. The utmost care is taken to ensure that the extraction rate is always only a small percentage of the replenishment rate of the aquafer in order to protect the source and guarantee sustainability.

We acknowledge our debt to nature, by donating part of all proceeds to saving the rhino, repay it in our own small way.
